Bail Enforcement Firearms Instructors
As of January 1, 2009 all licensees wanting to carry a firearm in the performance of his or her duties shall take an 8-hour firearms course and pass a shooting test. Licensees are only required to take the shooting course once with every renewal time period (every 2 years).
The instructors listed below are qualified and have expressed interest in teaching the bail firearms courses. Only those instructors listed below are approved to teach the bail firearms courses.

The criteria to become an instructor are as follows:
- Current Utah Concealed Firearm Permit Instructor and one of the following
- Active and current Utah P.O.S.T. Firearms Instructor; or
- N.R.A. Training Counselor with the following disciplines;
- Certified as a Chief Range Safety Officer; and
Certified to instruct Basic Pistol, Personal Protection Inside and Outside the home
