July Special Enforcement Project
On July 17, 2009 the Utah Highway Patrol conducted a statewide DUI enforcement campaign. Troopers from around the State conducted special enforcement projects specifically targeting impaired drivers. The project was conducted in preparation for the July 24th Utah State holiday.
The project was very successful. Throughout the State Utah Highway Patrol troopers made 1613 vehicle stops, arrested 46 impaired drivers, and made 11 alcohol related arrests.
